Mr. Allen has over 17 years of experience in product development, project management, and operations leadership in the medical device and biotechnology industries. Prior to Carmell, he served as a Platform Director for West Pharmaceutical Services where he led teams in the development and sustainment of wearable on-body drug delivery and drug containment systems. In this role, he was a key leader and liaison with large pharmaceutical partners, contributing to the commercial launch of several industry leading biologic drugs. Mr. Allen earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona . He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has received patents in the soft tissue biopsy and drug delivery spaces.
